SANCHI operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). SANCHI is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

In accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, the person in charge of the protection of personal information at SANCHI is Théo Girard, founder.

SANCHI newsletter and emails

What we collect. When you sign up for our newsletter (for example through the “Access to the pre-order” window), we collect your email address, as well as the date and source of your sign-up to keep proof of your consent.

Why. To send you the early-access link to the pre-order, as well as our launches, news and offers. We do not sell your information. Except as described in the section “Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence”, we do not use it for other purposes without your consent.

Your consent. We only email you if you have signed up. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us. Unsubscribe requests are processed within 10 business days at most.

Open and click tracking. Our emails may contain technologies that measure whether they are opened and which links are clicked. This helps us know which content interests you. You can block images from loading in your email software to limit this tracking.

Service providers and hosting outside Quebec

To send our emails, we use Omnisend, an email marketing platform. Our online store is hosted by Shopify. These providers process your information on our behalf, according to our instructions, and only for the purposes described here.

Your information may therefore be hosted or processed outside Quebec, notably in the United States (where our Shopify store data is hosted), in the European Union (Omnisend is a Lithuanian company) and in the United Kingdom, where Omnisend has affiliates. Before communicating it outside Quebec, we assess whether this information will receive adequate protection there.

Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence

Our store uses Shopify Network Intelligence, a Shopify feature. With this feature, Shopify may securely use information about our customers, combined with other Shopify data, to improve its products, for ad targeting and to personalize the experience on our store, according to its own terms. No other merchant can see your information.

Retention

We keep your email address as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, we keep only what is needed to respect your choice and prove your past consent. The rest is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to access your information, to have it corrected or to receive a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format. You can also withdraw your consent or ask that we stop disseminating your information.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
